A shortlist of policy objectives for the next government

Ahead of the election on 7 May, I’ve drawn up a list of six occupational health (OH) objectives we might realistically hope a new government could take forward.

1 Top of my list is help for the 700,000¹ working-age adults with learning disabilities to enter and remain in employment. Two-thirds of people with a learning disability would like a job², but in 2013/14 only 6.8% were in paid employment³. And, whereas 10,770 people with hearing or vision disabilities received…..
