The vision of return to work as an outcome of good clinical care will be a key objective for Dr Anne de Bono, president-elect of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM). De Bono will take over from current president Dr Richard Heron in autumn 2017. Speaking to Occupational Health [at Work], de Bono says that she would be disappointed if, by the end of her three-year term as president, ‘… return to work and productivity within UK plc is not seen as an outcome of good clinical care…
