Paul Suff examines the results of OH at Work’s exclusive pay, benefits and professional development survey. The first part of his analysis focuses on the latest financial and nonfinancial rewards received by OH nurses, occupational physicians and health and safety practitioners.
AVERAGE annual salaries for OH professionals continue to be well ahead of mean UK earnings, while some, particularly occupational physicians, are high earners. Many OH practitioners also receive additional financial compensation as part of their overall remuneration package, which is worth, on average, 12% of the average full-time salary.
