International OH systems, Part 1

Part 1: occupational health delivery in France

Summary:

In the first of a series of articles exploring different national occupational health systems, Janine Bigaignon- Cantineau explains how OH is coordinated and delivered in France, and the important changes it now faces.

FRANCE has one of the most comprehensive occupational health systems in the world, largely because of its strict laws that make OH provision obligatory. Janine Bigaignon-Cantineau is an occupational health consultant, and France National Secretary to ICOH.
