Dr Raymond Flannery Jr is a licensed clinical psychologist and fellow of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine. He is associate clinical professor of psychology at the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, and adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He designed and fielded the Assaulted Staff Action Program (ASAP), a voluntary, peer-help, crisis-intervention programme for employee victims of violence.
