Stress at work and associated sick leave have become major OH issues. This article by Deborah Cowap and Prof Andy Smith describes an approach to reducing these problems by providing an occupational support service. The results show that provision of the service reduced sickness absence by 74% and led to a 20% reduction in reported stress.
