Two important documents have been published on hand–arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) – a position paper from the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) and the long-awaited update of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance to the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
