This is your chance to take five minutes to present a new idea that has helped improve health in your workplace. Showcase an OH intervention, discuss a dilemma in OH practice or present the key findings of some research. Challenge or celebrate what you’ve been doing in OH!
All presenters will attend day one free as a thank you for their participation!
Participants will be able to claim additional CPD for the time taken to prepare their presentation. The presentation might also be suitable to choose for inclusion as part of your reflective practice.
Who can present a session?
We encourage ALL delegates – whether you are an OH nurse, physician, case manager, psychologist or occupational hygienist, working in OH, H&S, HR or the law, from the UK or overseas – to suggest a five-minute presentation. The session is designed for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned speaker, or would like the opportunity to present at a conference for the first time.
This has been one of the highlights of the conference in previous years, so please take the opportunity to participate!
What do you need to do?
First of all, please send in a title for your presentation, and a brief description of what you would like to talk about (just one or two sentences will be perfect) by 30th July 2023.
We’ll select the presentations we think will work together best (avoiding any duplication of topics), and we will be in touch to let you know if your presentation has been chosen by 14th August 2023.
If your presentation is chosen, we will notify you and you will need to prepare 20 easy-to-read slides that will be set on auto-roll, 15 seconds per slide. The key is to make them visual but keep them simple. Each slide just needs a brief amount of information.

We can only include a maximum of seven presentations, so to avoid disappointment send us your idea as soon as possible!
