Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and professional team on a self-employed, freelance basis. This role is instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional, tailored occupational health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 2 OH referrals per week, focusing largely on prolonged sickness absence caseloads.
  • Conduct assessments through remote video consultations.
  • Utilise our standardised OH templates for assessments to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Liaise with our secretarial team for report typing and administrative support.
  • Complete assessments within a 14-day period from the date of referral.


  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
  • Must have a clean DBS check.
  • Appropriate indemnity cover.
  • Registered as self-employed.
  • Proficient in remote consultation and assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with a high degree of professionalism.
