Peer support training in mental health at work
Mental Health First Aid is designed to help non-clinicians support others who have, or are developing, a mental-health problem.
Nicola Godwin investigates its use as a peer-support initiative in the workplace.
IF you’re reading this article in a public space of some kind – perhaps in an office or on a busy commuter train – you can look up and be reasonably confident that for every 10 people you can see, two to three will be diagnosed with a mental-health problem.
