The results of our April Tea-breaker poll

Summary:

As part of a series of articles on the role of accompanying persons at OH consultations, John Ballard presents the findings of an online Tea-breaker poll in which OH professionals reported their experiences and opinions.

Our April 2023 Tea-breaker poll asked occupational health (OH) professionals to report their experiences of employees who request to be accompanied at the OH consultation by third parties, such as by spouses, partners, family members, friends, colleagues, trade union representatives, translators and employment advisers. The poll explored if and how frequently this occurred and what impact these third parties might have on the consultation.

METHODS
