Tell us a little about your formative years? I grew up in a village outside Canterbury. My wife and kids say I repeatedly say I spent a lot of time ‘rummaging about in the woods’. Dinner times in my childhood were frequently unintelligible as my parents – professors in social policy and sociology – argued about academic nuance…
