In the second of our two-part feature on the OH needs of workers abroad, Dipti Patel discusses employers’ duty of care, and the role of OH in preparing and reducing the health risks to occupational travellers.

Dr Dipti Patel is a specialist occupational health physician and the director of clinical services at Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad (MASTA), She works part time at Capita Health Solutions for the BBC and Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and also works independently in the occupational health department for a branch of the Ministry of Defence.
