Diana Kloss’s contribution to occupational health has been marked with the award of an MBE in the 2009 New Year Honours List. She tells Occupational Health [at Work] why she chose to specialise in OH law and what continues to motivate her.

I was born and brought up in what was then Essex and is now the London Borough of Havering. My father was a solicitor in local government, and perhaps for that reason I always wanted to study law.
