Menstrual Leave: a much needed OH benefit or a threat to gender equality in the workplace?
Recent stories in the UK media about ‘menstrual leave’ have highlighted the debate about employers, and even national governments, creating a specific form of sick leave for women who have painful, or otherwise difficult, periods. Sally King, director of the Menstrual Matters online hub, does not believe this is the best way forward.
