Legal News

Diana Kloss’s latest blog reports on a case which has held that legal protections on PPE and leaving work in circumstances of danger should apply to ‘workers’, not just employees.

These could include taxi and private hire drivers and chauffeurs, bus and coach drivers, van drivers and couriers working for delivery companies. All these occupations have higher-than-average rates of death from COVID-19 and are therefore in particular need of health and safety protection.
