On World Menopause Day, 18th October, ACAS has launched new guidance for employers to help manage the impact of menopause at work.

The ACAS guidance on the menopause and perimenopause is at .

Among other things it includes suggestions for possible changes at work, and guidance on facilitating conversations between the worker and her manager (or others) on this sensitive area.

The guidance also warns that employers and managers need to be aware that there are risks of disability discrimination and/or sex discrimination, and/or age discrimination if a worker is mismanaged because of their menopause or perimenopause symptoms.
