There has been a tribunal case on harassment related to the menopause, and the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland has issued new guidance on the menopause.

Also, in 2020 there was an employment tribunal case (not a binding precedent) on harassment in relation to the menopause. The tribunal upheld a claim for harassment related to sex and age. The lengthy course of harassment had led to the claimant having a mental breakdown.
